Share your stargazing spots

Know a dark viewpoint, an open field with a clear horizon or the place where you photograph the Milky Way? Add it and help others find good skies.

How it works

  1. Sign in with your email (password or magic link) and choose an alias.
  2. In four steps: where it is, what makes it special, photos and tips (optional), and review. Anything you don't know stays as "I don't know".
  3. We review it before publishing. Once approved, it appears on the map under your alias.
  4. People who go there later can rate it and add photos.

Rules

  • Only places with public or authorised access. No private land without permission and no protected areas closed at night.
  • No personal data, advertising or commercial links.
  • Your own photos or ones you have permission for, with no recognisable people who haven't consented.
  • Ratings are opinions. They never change the SkyScore, which only uses data and calculations.
